"My definition of a witch has been complicated over the years in really beautiful ways… in the beginning, it was a definition or role that was placed on people… people were accused of being witches, and people were given that label. And that label had awful consequences, oftentimes death. And now there's a moment in time where there's been a reclamation of that word, where people are trying to tap into what a witch can be and inhabit that possibility. I see the witch as this figure of someone interested in engaging with the world… someone who is curious about actively questioning what is true, what is real, what we can engage with, what we can impact."
